Leaders, Leaders Everywhere
Just when you start to think that you are the only one out there working on Slow Food, you walk into a room with FORTY other like minded individuals! FORTY other convivium leaders who plan amazing events, who struggle with organization, who have incredible passion, who understand that Slow Food is not cooking in a crock pot! FORTY men and women who inspired Veronica and I immensely. FORTY foodies who shared thier personal journeys, food memories, best (and worst) convivium practices, events and ideas. FORTY midwesterners who spent the weekend getting excited and reinvigorated about Slow Food!
We can't wait to share with all of you all that we learned and experienced this weekend. We are both still processing and thinking about all of it, and will have alot more to share in the future. Veronica and I are both excited about the future of our convivium, and can't wait to start making changes!
